Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 960-1127)
the rounded cup of deep circular ‘bubble bowl’ form with upturned lipless rim, raised on a small neatly finished ring foot, the cupstand with a hollow central section of similar steeply rounded circular form, surrounded by a wide saucer with moulded rim and raised on a tapered foot, both covered all over in a pale lavender blue glaze thinning to a pale mushroom color at the rims and pooling to an opaque blue in some areas.
