Western Zhou Dynasty (1027 – 771 B.C.)
of flattened form, incised on either side with a large round eye and a shallow arc suggesting the gills, a long dorsal fin rising along the curved back and two shorter fins on the belly, the bifurcated tail with beveled edge, the blunt snout pierced with a small hole, the polished surface with remains of cinnabar.
